YOGABEARS classes bring stories to life through moves inspired by yoga. Combining fun with exercise, children go on wild adventures where they can be in Jungles with their favorite animals, superheroes who save the world, brave sailors who combat pirates to save the ocean!
This program gives children awareness of Yoga and its properties in a more interesting and interactive way. All children can do YOGABEARS to their own ability. Children don't need to be fast, have good hand to eye co-ordination or be physically fit.
At the end of the class, the children will benefit from learning a little about nutrition and the value of eating right. Also the yoga stories will teach a moral value which is important for children to understand and emphasizes the importance of being positive, kind and expressing gratitude.
Mindfulness is noticing what is happening in the present moment. Mindfulness can help to learn to pay close attention to many things. It can also help us calm down when we are angry, sad, frustrated, or have any difficult emotion. Mindfulness can help us notice when we are happy or grateful too. It can also help us focus in school, sports or music. Under the Yogabears program, we introduce the concept of mindful bodies where children learn to relax out their daily troubles and stress
